It's US Thanksgiving Day, when we gorge ourselves and then sleep it off in front of the TV. I do most of the cooking, but wife does the cleaning. That does place a premium on me to be careful if I don't want to hear about the big mess I made (which usually lasts to Christmas, fortunately Christmas dinner is less of a production, so the critique only lasts through New Years Day.)
Anyway, a happy day to all of us in the US. And to those who aren't Americans, it's still a day to consider what you have to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm at work for a short, four hour day. My wife is picking up already made meal at the grocery store this morning.
I'm very thankful for this forum and the great modelers within it.

Greetings from a snow covered and freezing Michigan. Dinner will be at one of the girls' so no big cleanup here. It's around 300 and the snow has paused, covering the ground but the driveway is clear so the Deere can rest.
Speaking of Deer, the media reported that Michigan hunters have culled 106,000 from the herd since the season started on the 15th. There season ends at the end of November but there is another month for those using blackpowder arms and bow and arrows.
Sports today will be interupted by travel to the dinner, LIONS at 1 and SPARTY HOOPS sometime around 4:30.
I started a small 3d project yesterday. Using a FREE set of drawings from a website called CULTS that has thousands of free or very low cost predrawn items from every imaginable interest, Trains to Dungeons and Dragons, anywhere in between. Discovery of that site has taken the urgency off learning a CAD program.
Enug from here. Do enjoy the day, family and food! :D

Happy Thanksgiving to all in the US and a Good Morning to everyone else,
Wife is busy in the kitchen prepping a feast for the three of us. Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, etc. along with a good bottle of Reisling. My job is to stay out of the way. ::) It's her favorite day of the year. We'll follow the meal with our annual viewing of Die Hard to kick of the Holiday season. It's not X-Mas until Hans Gruber falls from the Nakatomi Plaza.
Like Jeff, I'm thankful for this forum and all the great content provided by its members.
Have a great one!
Morning all,
Happy thanksgiving to all.
I'm also thankful for family, country and of course all the modeling friends here.
Have a wonderful day ya'll.

My better half and I are heading to one of her sisters where others will join us as well. It is indeed a day to be thankful for all we have. I hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning and Happy Turkey Day from the northeast corner of Massachusetts. I'm not cooking today so I'll stay out of the kitchen. Tomorrow I'll sneak out and visit George and the F&SM
Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving to all celebrating.
Since Dave and Raymo didn't mention our weather, we're all experiencing sun, mid 40s and west winds with occasional gusts up to 20 MPH. I gave the chickens and barn cat treats this morning, then made cranberry sauce by the package recipe except half the sugar. My wife is making dinner rolls and sauteed green beans. Later I'll pressure cook my Boston Brown Bread according to Fannie Farmer. My daughter and her mother are preparing pies etc. while the turkey is roasting. She's expecting 15 for dinner including my sons and a couple I've never met. But we all agree on most things.
I did decide how to solve a tracklaying problem last night, but won't order the material from Northeastern till I've checked inventory.
Besides the F&SM, it's Tour de Chooch weekend. https://www.tourdechooch.org/wp/
