BULLETIN!
The day is well past the halfway hump. Snow and wet schmutz is nearly 6" deep all around
the mid Michigan area. I discovered that the County to our North doesn't plow snow as I had a 10am appointment with the hearing aid guy. I did get to town early enough to cop a Sausage Crescaunt(sp) at the Booger King, was actually fresh!
Stopped at the Deere dealer for a couple of shear bolts for the snow blower, the RH half of the auger must have choked on a chunk of ice, or a small animal... :P while doing the driveway yesterday. It was an easy fix! SURPRISE! Not even metric, straight old 7/16" bolt and nut. Checked the other side, it was loosened up a tad so I wrenched Tad's nuts tighter. :o This wet mess was a real trip to move. Temp out ~300 and it wasn't distressing to be out.
Saw a Bald Eagle sitting in the rain in a tree on the way to my appt. this morning. Not a happy guy.
With more cold coming this ice will be a mess of slip N slide. My aged asphalt drive isn't as flat as you might like and the blower doesn't get it all the way to the surface in places.
Well, anyone around? Speak up!
Go Wednesday!

It is definitely quiet around here today!
We just finished digging out of the snow around here and now it is starting to rain! ::) Tomorrow, we will be traveling off of the mountain to town to drop off the last Christmas rush shipments. They should make it to under the Christmas trees in time. Orders after today will likely not make X-mas day, but orders are back to normal after this rush (thanks to those who support the online MMR industry.
Here is a sneak peak of our next little kit. still in base coat and missing signage and a few details.
Good evening, all. The NH seacoast was nice this morning, sunny but never really got to 40F. After lunch clouds, then rain around sunset. That continues, but supposed to stop in an hour or two, then stay above freezing all night. I just got back from a milk run to the dairy a few miles N. They make very nice ice cream and are experimenting with butter and cheese curds.
After a quick look around the Forum, up to the attic till bedtime.
