Title: FRIDAY is here...get it off your chest!
Post by: KentuckySouthern on December 12, 2025, 09:42:27 AM
Overcast and cold here this morning in Michigan.

Little if anything new to add.  Saga in Ann Arbor continues to drag on.  More dirt residue from Cheatin' Jim's era...

Bench time is the plan here today.

Be well all.

Morning all,

Late start today.  I've shoveled the two inches of snow from yesterday.  Twenty eight degrees.  It will be barely above zero for the high the next two days.

Some gift wrapping on the docket for today.

Good afternoon, All!!

32, feels like 32 and serene indeed here in the northern mitten, with the grey blanket solidly in place overhead and indications of high winds and WGFA arriving after dinner.  But the real danger is forgetting that Friday the Thirteenth is on Saturday this month, so I'll try to beat the danger by saying "Go Navy! Beat Army!"

Stay safe, all!

Good evening, all. High 30s and mostly sunny, but barely made it to freezing along the Gulf of Maine. I was outside a lot at the Trolley Museum, investigating a streetcar that split a switch.  Happily, alert people on the ground stopped the move before the car actually left the rails. The switchpoint definitely needs building up, but the trolley's wheels may also be out of standard.  We'll make a plan over the next couple of months, but digging will wait for April at the earliest.

No modeling tonight, but tomorrow is likely.
