Morning all,
It's three below, headed to a high of four. I don't plan on leaving the house today. At least no snow in the forecast.
The fix for the passenger cars didn't seem to help. Not sure what else to do with them. They are parked in the East Yard and won't be run when my grandson is here.
Today will be mostly watching and listening to football and goofing off.
Jeff
Good morning everyone.
It will be cloudy with a high of 75 here today.
Jeff, that's an amazing machine shop.
Do you know who built it?
More time with the kids today.
Have a great day everyone.
Single digit temps and negative number windchill. Currently it is sunny 8)
Division 5 was ok yesterday, we had sandwiches, BBQ Beef and cole slaw, chips and pop then settled in to watch Emperor of the North with Lee Marvin and Ernest Borgnine. Star was a steam engine #17 of the Yreka XXX? Railroad. Entertainment.

Happy Sunday everyone.
Rick, have fun with the kids.
Karl, I'm pulling for the lions also. However, I won't be watching as I'll spend the time working on the Koontz model.
Have a great day everyone and stay warm.

Everyone have a great day!! ;D

GO BILLS!
Morning all,
Karl, I have "Emperor of the North" on DVD. Great movie. I need to put that one on sometime this week.
The better half is going to cook up a big batch of pasta sauce today. The rule is anyone walking past the stove must give the sauce a stir while it's simmering. Tonight, some of it will be used for stuffed shells.
Think I'll watch football and get back to work on the pool hall this afternoon.

Have a great one!
I looked up the contest winners and the Machine Shop was titled "Nolan's Machine Shop" by Tom Doege. It won best of show. You can see all the winners here. https://www.45thnngc.com/contest
And as an answer to Dave:
GO PATS!
Jeff
Good morning all, quite a crowd in the Lounge. It's around freezing on the NH seacoast. Light snow has been falling all morning, total accumulation is maybe 2". Outdoor chickens and cat are OK, but the sick chicken I brought inside passed overnight. She was always the first to reach tasty fruit bits when I took them out. :'(
Karl, I believe the RR was Yreka Western. They've been independent since construction in 1899.
Jeff, sad to hear the passenger cars are being balky., I've been generally successful with passenger equipment, including Walthers. If there was a way I could watch a truck derail as viewed from rail level, I might have a useful suggestion.
After lunch I need to shut off the computers and work on model railroading.
Afternoon all.....

Dear Jeff.
Scoreboard says it all.
My finger nails are much shorter after the game than beforehand.
Just call me Stumpy.
