Regarding tonight's New Tracks Modeling My Build show, I will be showing two of my models.

One is my Guffs Gas and Go diorama, that I built to honor a Railroad Line Forums member Dave Guffy
and the other one is my scratchbuild of a Blacksmith Shop, started with a co-build with Jerry Grohe (Trains1941)
The Blacksmiths Shop is a "work-in-progress" build because it is not yet finished. I will be showing the completed model when I do get it finished in another My Build later on this year.

Here's a couple of pictures in case you decide to join us this evening. Hope you attend.

I remember the Blacksmith Shop build you started. Was following that back on RRL.

Glad to see your presenting your excellant scratch builds.

See you to night on NTM or as Phil says New Tracks Live !!!

I'm hoping that some of the fine modelers on here would eventually like to join the fun, show and talk about their models and how they build them.

Bernd, Thank you for the additional input.
My hope is the same as yours, plus the New Tracks Modeling site
is in "real time", like sitting in a room where all modelers can see each other and speak to one another.

I have learned a lot of tips and have gotten better at my modeling perusing this type of outlet.
The main difference between New Tracks Modeling Live show and here is: on here, you make a post, then wait for an answer and if no one answers, you wait some more. It's like being on the Titanic and waiting for a life boat to come...
and sometimes no one answers because they aren't interested in certain threads.

I like both options, NTM and Modelers Forums.

I liken it to being at a club meeting. Different subjects discussed by different modelers. Not everyone will join in because it's a subject they aren't interested in even though it may be model railroad related.

I've gotten some good info on products. Nice thing is some of the guys on there also have a hobby shop business and produce items for the modeler. You get a chance to ask questions of the owner about his product. Something that's not possible on a forum.

You have to remember that on a forum modelers show up at different times do to other priorities or time constraint. Can you imagine all 365 members on here posting at the same time and the varied subjects that would be discussed?

Both platforms has its minuses and pluses. See you tonight n NTM.
