Hello everyone,
First post here (with some actual work), new member, glad to be here! This is a kit-bash project based on the merge of two Auhagen kits (Smith Street 17/19). I added/removed/edited several architectural elements from the North-European facades in order to have the appropriate look for a small hotel in my downtown area. I hope all photos etc appear as they should.
This is the finished building with some primer. HotelParis5s.jpeg
Masking and painting of basic colors. HotelParis2s.jpeg
Masking removed, basic colors done. HotelParis1s.jpeg
The main blade sign, custom designed and printed by myself. HoteldeParis10s.jpeg

Great job on the build. The sign is exceptional.
What Curt said, great job on the build and welcome to the forum.
Very nice! The building has a nice 1910-1920 Art Deco look to it. The sign lettering further matches that era.

Welcome to the forum.
A very nice build indeed.

Curt, Ron, Jerry and Dave many thanks for the kind words and the warm welcome!
One more photo of the rear wall that did not fit in my opening post where i weathered the brickwork.

Howdy Yannis,
Welcome, and wow, nice kitbash. The back looks amazing, too. The sign is clever.
Have fun,
mike
Many thanks Mike! Looking forward to place it back on the layout (long story short...moved houses, layout in pieces, restarted work on the layout a couple of weeks ago, but that deserves perhaps it's own layout thread).

Yannis,
Yes, we would love to see a layout thread. I have popcorn and I'm ready to watch.

Many thanks Karl, both for the welcome and the kind words.
