Twenty three degrees this morning, headed to thirty six for a high.
Trip to Costco this morning. I had planned that for yesterday, but when I arrived at Costco I remembered I left my card at home. :P
Today is the last day of my three weeks vacation. Only four more weeks of work, though.

There are rumors they'll be building a Costco in a former mall in Portsmouth NH. That would be A Good Thing, it's an hour's drive to the closest one now. A Portsmouth location would bring in customers from MA and ME, too (no sales tax in NH...)
Light snow now, roads are slippery. Dogs are at the groomer, so house is unnaturally quiet. It's strange how I notice when they're not here, even when they're not making any noise. Off to the train room in a bit...

30o dropping thru the day to near 20o with 15-30 mph winds. We've had peeks of the sun but currently it's clouded up. Warmer temperatures will likely be expected later this week.
Currently am with the Doll in town. It's cold for sure :o
Bench time planned when back home.

Good morning, Jeff, Dave, Karl and later visitors. By the Merrimack, we're supposed to get a little more snow, then temperatures rising well above freezing by mid-afternoon. Daytime highs are forecast above freezing the rest of the week.
I have a shingle order to place for my wife, then it might be time to take a push-broom to the driveways. My bridge railing materials arrived Tuesday, so I'll work out the best looking way to assemble them this afternoon.
It's cold here in FL but not expecting any sympathy ;D
Trains on the brain...layout is completely torn down and just hung up with painter...I'm excited for a fresh start in a beautiful room. I'll probably head to Home Depot today to get some new layout materials. I've got a very clear vision (not to the point of final track, etc) of how I want to go about this and I expect to move quickly once the room is ready.
As a freshly retired guy...this is a good time to start fresh. Going away to Vieques on Sunday for a week of RnR...probably healthy to be forced to pump the brakes before I dive in.
