 8) Good morning from frigid, 14o plains of Michigan with a couple inches of new snow.

Enjoy the day. Stay safe.

Morning all,

Twenty two headed to thirty eight today.  Great picture Karl.

Worked yesterday, off today.  Nothing planned.

Morning all,

Broke out the airbrush yesterday. It's been a long time since I did that. Primed the parts for the current build. I'll be painting them for several workbench sessions for sure.

Have a great one!

Falling temps and cloudy in SE NH.  Spring was nice yesterday, while it lasted.  Scotch Club compared 6 different malts from Isle of Raasay distillery.  There was a lot of variation across those 6.

In between grocery shopping and Scotch Club, I got a lot more pick-up/put-away done.  In particular, I put pieces of stripwood/strip styrene back into the appropriate bags.  I tend to pull out a couple different sizes to try, use the winner, and leave the other pieces sitting on the back of the workbench.  No discipline!  Some more of that today, I'd like to clear all the stuff currently sitting on the DCC testbed (track oval on plywood.)

My BESTTrains farm critters arrived yesterday, so I could also work on them (pigs, chickens, roosters, and a farm pump.)

The Michigan Toy Soldier Company ad visited the club in this week's edition.

The bottles in question:

Our preference was for the higher alcohol malts, as they had more complex flavors.  We debated whether that was due to being cask strength so stronger in flavor and alcohol, or maybe just the alcohol brought out the flavors.

Good afternoon, all. I only sampled two kinds of beer at The Haverhill Brewpub last night, but Nathi was happy to drive us all home.  Sun shine on the Merrimack Valley but cold wind gusting out of the NW, so didn't light the bonfire.  Mostly computer work instead so far today.
