Title: A laser cut kit.
Post by: Deem on March 06, 2026, 05:28:14 PM
I put this kit together years ago, but don't really have a purpose for it on my small branchline terminus layout.

I don't even know what a structure like this would be used for.

Rich, now that is an idea to make it a bunk house; out in the field near the TT?

Curt, I did some research and it is a kit make by AMB, which I just learned the they closed two years ago. The description for the kit is, it is a trackside elevated warehouse or a structure for on the farm.

Deem,

It could be many things. For a railcar shed, it would need to be lower to the ground.

I like the idea of a track side warehouse/maintenance shed.

Nice model and well built. I've built many of the AMB kits, structures and caboose models. I was sorry to hear the owner passed.
