Title: Canopy support mounts
Post by: Dave K. on September 14, 2014, 09:42:59 AM
Not sure of the terminology, but I hope Mike doesn't mind if I use a detail from his morning picture to explain.

The rod used to support a canopy to the wall...where it connects to the wall...do y'alls use a piece of hardware of some kind like an NBW ...  Just drill into the wall and insert the rod? I've tried a few ways, none of which have looked good to me. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I use Grandt line part #5156 nut/washer casting.  Drill out the center hole and insert the wire thru this.

Hi Dave & jeff:

You can also use Tichy turnbuckles. These were adjustable by using turnbuckle to lengthen or shorten them.
