Title: Projects.
Post by: Philip on March 10, 2026, 01:14:15 PM
These are unreleased Hobo's from Cumberland Shop. This all happened because I asked him when he was planning Hobo's. He said his daughter was doing the artwork. A bit of time passed and I emailed him again and he said they are about done. So here is the about versions I painted up. The guitar guy has them held up as you can see they are not perfect but close. The neck is crooked and the bottom part curve is a bit off looking more like a Gibson Explorer.

Nice figures. A search implies they're On3?  I should go look what's new in HO figures.

Howdy Philip,

The hobos look amazing—nice work painting the figures and creating the scene.  The Delta blues fit perfectly.

Have fun,
mike

The musician's "Git-fiddle" took credible to me.  The printing of figgers is becoming very interesting.  Neat, interesting stuff.  Well done.

Picked some of these lil guys on feebay. The leader is struggling and the somebody is loafing or just weak!

I received these painted and they were sticky like oil base paint. Stripped them and did a quick repaint with craft blue stoneware which looks similar to denim indigo.

They are Railroad Avenue figures and now closed since the advent of 3dp. These are nice sculpts!

Nice looking barrels as well as the figures. Were there only 2 or did you get more; just curious.

Thank you Larry. I got about a half dozen or so from a guy selling his Dad's On30 stuff. Was a kind of grab bag of remnants.

That website is down but just google Railroad Avenue figures for more information. These 2 guys I have not seen for sale anywhere.
