Morning all,

Happy Pi Day!  Wish I'd gotten a pie at the store yesterday.

Flurries and a high of 49 here today.

Maybe some layout work today, we'll see.

Oh my that's a mountain! :o  I've been working on mine.

There was little to enjoy in last night's hoops game, the 4 point (losing) margin was no indication of just how poorly it was played. Had they hit all the damn close and easy shots they should have won by double digits. They didn't UCLA was prepared, and did. Even after playing the night before.

I'll be off to the Divisional meeting later today, the Doll and grandbabe are having a girls day.

Sun and calm after winds gusts to 60 per and general mess yesterday has yielded to the 20s to maybe 40o later, 60o tomorrow with a cold front late in the day taking us back to 20s and snow by Monday. Yesterday the weather report for much of the UP included the word feet with wind and snow the Bridge was closed a bit

That's all I've got!  Be safe all. It IS still March. Ides say.  ;D

Morning All,

Wifey is under the weather, so date night cancelled...train day  ::)

Patching and painting is finished, so I can begin the move back into my office/train room - to some extent. I purchased some nice Closetmaid components, so first order of business is completing the closet...not exciting, but necessary I suppose.

I'm trying to put my upcoming Swiss N scale layout out of mind while I get the HOn3 one put together first...but it's hard. So much to explore, learn and BUY  ;D. Right now, I'm trying to figure out catenary...that's a whole new ballgame for me, but I love the look of it...hoping it's not a solder-fest...that'd be like a whole other hobby within a hobby.

We'll see. Everyone, have a good day!

"Right now, I'm trying to figure out catenary."

Looking forward to seeing that.  Interesting to see, not in doing it.  Lots of new solder units on the market could be helpful.

Good morning from the cloudy-bright lower Merrimack Valley.  It was below freezing last night while it snowed an inch or so, but warmer now with a lot of wind forecast for the afternoon.

Jeff, there is a layout owner who likes rocks! Karl, that cliff looks forbidding. I don't believe New England has any bridges long or exposed enough that they regularly close for weather. But I bet that happens with the 2-lane bridge to Prince Edward Island. Too far away to be in any news I see regularly, though.

I've got a little more prep for my HUB Division Railfun Scrathcbuilding In Styrene clinic.  Free 1-3 PM in the Marlborough, MA Public Library if you're in driving distance.

Interesting. I'm interested in catenary too. Here's some motive power. Now all I need is a layout.

Well, I've never been interested in motor sports or basketball.  But good for those of you who do like that stuff!

I spent some time on my car kit.  It should be OK in the end.  I also spent time looking for the missing door guide, and I guess I'll just give up and use parts from the Tichy sprue.

Scotch Club this afternoon.  We probably won't go too long, it's windy so that means the fire might have to be limited.
