Morning all,

Headed to 87 degrees here today.  It was nice yesterday while we did the yard work, but I'm really stiff and sore from that.  Unfortunately, my wife thinks there's a bit more to do today.  We'll go out early before it gets in the 80s.

Hawkeye women play in the NCAA later this afternoon.

Morning Jeff and others drifting in,

No sure how much if any bench time I'll get in. Our grandson is coming by around 11AM with his girlfriend. We haven't seen him in two years and he said he had something to tell us. I'm guessing the two are now engaged. We'll see.

Hopefully I will get to the bench later this afternoon.

Have a great day ya'll.

Tom

Good Morning. What I thought was going to be a quick in and out at the orthodontist yesterday, was a little more than expected. I ended up having a tooth pulled that was beyond repair. I knew it needed to be done, but thought my dentist was going to do it. Did get to go to my local Hobby shop, but a few of the things I needed were out of stock. :(

Scattered clouds, should turn fully sunny this afternoon for Scotch Club.  There's still patches of snow on shady spots in the neighborhood, plus piles pushed at the end of driveways.  But Mud Season is definitely here.

I'll be experimenting with thinning out the grass on the grass mat I glued into place earlier this week.  That should be interesting.  Instructions say "wet the mat and that will soften the glue."  Has anyone worked over a Heki grass mat that way?

Raymo, when I was a kid, our family dentist was a friend of my father's.  He was High School All-State in Wrestling.  My dad said, "He's the best tooth puller in Pittsburgh."

Light fog and grey sky in Michigan, mid 30s going to near 60o if they are to be believed.  We had sun break out and a warm feeling 65o.  The motorcycles were out among other seasonal stuff.  Zero snow here about.

I did tinker briefly on the layout late yesterday after finishing up the 'doggy bag' from the steak dinner.

Today the SPARTY crew plays Louisville mid afternoon.  Layout may get a little attention, I also have an Rx that is ready to pickup.

The dental stories give me terrors...had a bad upbringing in that respect, old Doc. Davis was old school. Our current dentist has AI diagnose the x-rays.  The last one retired after getting his helicopter paid off.

About all I have.  Be well all.

Greetings everyone, I am fairy new to this forum. I model a CNR 1956 branch line terminus set in coastal Eastern Canada. I also collect rolling stock and motive power circa 1974.

Sunny day where I am in the lower mainland of BC, but not for long. Crazy wet winter we had, but no snow in my neck of the woods this year. Cherry blossoms are out and rhododendrons.
