Morning all,

Cloudy, rainy and a high of 58 F (14 C) later today.

Mulch guys came yesterday and did their work.  I don't miss having to haul all those bags.  Before they came I pulled out a bunch of branches (yes, we just did this a couple of weeks ago, but they keep coming), that need to be cut up, but it's too cold and rainy for that.

Still working on the two kits on and off.  I may start a thread on them, though the one isn't looking great.

Jeff

Good morning, Jeff and those on the way to the Forum.  It's windy, low 50s F with bright sun on the NH seacoast. I'm recuperating after another week of track work at Seashore. Bookkeeping to do, then Town stuff, maybe modeling this evening.

Good Morning;

Watching the wife race today in what they call dragon boats, think 10 person war canoes. She has been on this team for years now. They are pretty good, apparently came in second last race and have one more to go.

This afternoon maybe some bench time but maybe not, we will see.

Everyone have a great day.

Jim

Someone I dated for a while was an occasional Dragon Boat paddler. But many of her events were at the end of long group bus rides, so I never saw one in person.

Dragon boats are a big deal in Vancouver.  My company fielded a team, and somewhere I have a (30 year old) T-Shirt from one of the dragon boat festivals.  I think part of the appeal was that paddling Dragon Boats was akin to paddling the large canoes used by the Pacific Northwest native peoples.    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_International_Dragon_Boat_Festival
