Morning all,
Possible rain this morning and a high of 65 F.
Didn't get anything accomplished yesterday while waiting for the Geek Squad. Originally it was going to be early AM, then changed to afternoon. He though it was the TVs power supply board and it would be almost $1k to fix. He couldn't check anything else as there was no power to the rest of the TV to see if anything else was broken. So we went to Best Buy afterwards and ordered a new one which will arrive Saturday. :P By then it was time for dinner and Red Sox baseball. They've actually started scoring some runs, which makes the games less painful to watch.
We'll see what we can get done today, has to be more than yesterday.
I did enjoy the classic Star Trek link Dave posted yesterday.

Sunny but cooler than yesterday. I should go out and do some yard work. This morning I wrote up a bug report on some Mac software I've been using for 30+ years. It's likely the problem is not actually in the app, but in an Apple service invoked by the app. The developer response to my initial report was nearly immediate, and he asked for some more information. ("DefaultFolder" - a utility that adds services, including a preview of images, to the Mac Open File dialog.)

Haven't posted the last few days but I have spent some time at the workbench. Finished the Moonshiner's Shed and started a small FOS freebie (Kefer's Chili). I'll update the Moonshiner's Shed thread shortly with final photos and comments. I'm not going to do a thread on the little freebie. I'm pondering what to build when that one's finished.
Meet with the Doc yesterday to go over the results of the X-rays on my back and hip. The hip has some mild hip osteoarthrosis and lower lumbar spondylosis (don't ask me, I just know it's sore). The back is the bigger issue. There is bridging osteophytes at L1, L2 and L3 and moderate facet arthropathy in some places. In the end, what all that means is I get to add an Orthopedic Doctor to my collection. We'll let him/her determine the course of action (hopefully limited to physical therapy or some less intrusive actions). :P
