Title: Friday May 15, 2026
Post by: Jim Donovan on May 15, 2026, 07:15:24 AM
Good Morning;

Club House is open, pot of coffee on the stove and donuts on the counter. I'm sitting on the back porch enjoying the cool (upper 60's) central Florida morning weather. Looks like another 90 degree day for a high.

I have beenn working on getting a little FPM 3D machine working and hoped to wake up to my firshed useable item printed on it. I'd previously tweeked it until it made the test print. Unfortunitly not to be I woke up to this:

So apparently FPM machines have their own set of printing issues. I might work some more on it today or just put it back on the shelf until the tinkering mood hits me again. I am ready to work on something else. Hope everyone hss a great day.

Morning Jim and others drifting in,

Sorry about the printed mess Jim but I know you'll get it worked out.

I'm off to edge and cut the grass now.

Have a great day ya'll.

40s, clouds, chance of rain this morning.

3d printing issues here, too.  I'm having issues with my Mars3 Pro, it prints all the supports and zero of the actual object desired.  :'(  Latest was a HO scale truck.  Will waste time looking for similar issues on U-toob.

Had most of the day tied up with fertilizing the grass.  Front and part of the back received Weed and Feed.

All I have.  Back to something basic, shake the box, box car.

It looks like HOT! is in the forecast W of us  :o

Morning all,

Sunny and headed to 86 today.  Yesterday I took a 3.5 mile walk and then swept and washed the patio and I was pooped.  I'll try another walk before the heat hits, maybe do the mildew spray stuff on the deck if it's not windy like yesterday.

No train work, though I did get the backdrops ordered.  Maybe building a "shake the box" kit will perk me up, thanks for the idea, Karl.

Good morning, Jim, Tom, Karl, Jeff and those who stop by later.  Nice dinner at my middle kid's place last night, my grandson is growing but not yet crawling.  Today the NH seacoast is overcast and wet, with chances of more rain rising about noon.

Possibly some modeling this afternoon, but I have to finish one report, write another, order a part and pay bills first.
