Well a late opening to the clubhouse;
Coffee is on and I am at the workbench. Another 90 plus day in Central Florida and perhaps some needed rain.
Today's project was moving some furniture to garage that iss being donated today. In the middle I needed to move a set of barbells that are weight adjustable. Thinking I was once again 35 I simple lifted them to floor one at a time. I use to lift both and do 3 sets of 12 deadlifts. Now the only thing dead is my back. Well maybe my ego as well. No matter, project done and wife is happy.
Hope all have a great day.
Today's photo is a 1:28 scale model I came across on web looking for inspiration. Amazing detail.

Bridge challenge? You wnat a bridge building challenge?
I'll take one of these in either G or O scale.
Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge: When Trains Cross & Where to Watch (https://www.capedays.com/cape-cod-canal-railroad-bridge-trains.html)
Back, somewhat dazed from 2500 miles in the car since last Wednesday. Except for the endless trek across Ohio, it was wotrh it.
Pegasus Bridge, Battle of Normandy.
I'm waiting for the first cataract appointment. No breakfast beforehand :-\ But while I have two 'known consistent' eyes AND some patience, I went down and re-attached the LED strip light wires that pulled out while I was working this over the weekend. It's a very awkward posture to get there, and my back is a bit sore but that'll work out.
Otherwise, it's going to be early summer here, high of 92 up from 51 this morning, a more than 40 degree swing. We do get these here in spring and fall, as fronts move through with rapid temp changes. Seasonal temps return Thursday, thankfully!
QuoteExcept for the endless trek across Ohio, it was wotrh it.
Then you don't want to drive across Nebraska!

Morning, all.
Wet out with a high of 63, though no rain predicted the rest of the day.
Nice model of the Pegasus Bridge.
ENT appointment later, hopefully they can fix my left ear's hearing. Probably need a tube replacement.

After mowing yesterday we had a huge storm at 3 pm followed by a power outage at 3:02 >:( reported winds were in the 90 mph range near us ripping the roof off of an elementary school full of kids. Luckily no injuries
We had dinner out with the Doll's brother and cousins. Ate well, dutifully nodding and grinning as bro-in-law soaked up the adulation at our end of the table ::) the Doll kept her end laughing ;D I don't know how people with kids can afford to take them out.
More stormy stuff later today, then big cool off from today's near 80 and 20-30 winds to highs in 60s until the weekend.
Bench time later. Out now for bird food and groceries for dinner tonight. Have seen lots of trees and branches down on the way. Power crews still working in places.
Be safe all.
Afternoon all.....
