Hi everyone - glad you are enjoying the refreshed forum logo!

There have been brief talks about settling on a new logo entirely, but in lieu of decisions being finalised I thought I would refresh our current one for now!

Today's accomplishment, a spool for a bundle of wire:
IMG_1597.jpeg
The red & black 2 conductor wire is 18 gauge for doing my LED light strips.  There was no spool for this, and I was afraid it would deteriorate from a well organized spool to a rat's nest.  So I made a spool.  The tube is from my "stock", it's actually a bit of historic relic in its own right.  It's a USGS map mailing tube. (They've now gone completely digital)  I cut a pice of the right length, then hot-glued it to a couple pieces of 1/4" plywood cut-offs.  Before I did that, though, I drilled a 3/4" hole through the middle of the plywood, so I could suspend this spool.

Anyway, that and more pick-up/put-away was today's work in the train room.
