Title: Damp (by the Gulf of Maine at least) Thursday 6/18
Post by: jbvb on June 18, 2026, 07:09:19 AM
Good morning, all. It's drizzling on the lower Merrimack Valley.  Damp forecast all day, with thunder & lightning this afternoon and evening. High of 77F.  The white clover I've turned my lawn over to is beginning to set seed, so may be time to mow again next week.

My big item today is meeting with DOT engineers about the bridge farther down my road.  A fine day for layout work if I can get the computer shut off....

Morning all,

Sunny and a high of 77 later.  We got two inches of rain yesterday as it really poured on and off all morning.

Nothing planned for today as I have the downstairs cleaned up and ready to go.  Not going to start any new projects as the grandchildren will be here on and off for almost a month (their other grandparents live in Iowa City as well, so they will split time back and forth).   Maybe will get back to the half done kit on the bench.

Morning all,

I'm in the train shed today. I'm putting back the carpet tiles from the rain intrusion. Everything is finally dried out. No more moisture or smell to deal with.

Later I'll update my Horwood build thread.

Have a great day ya'll.

Tom

Morning all. I'm having the same weather as James as we're just a few miles away from each other. A meeting with the rehab about my mother is at 11:00, and I'll be at the bench after that doing some detail painting.

Cold, damp, grey in Michigan. Mid 60s feel about 50o with the stiff breeze and dampness

Out "saling " with the Doll. We're at an estate sale near Greenville, MI   she just set down a stack o'stuffs next to where I'm sitting. This is one strange, unfinished maze of of a place. Stairs with no railings, just watched a woman nearly fall, stumbling on an odd twist in the stairs.

It's payday, I should be home paying bills but they can be done later.

Be well all.
