Morning all,
Headed to 93 today and possible storms. Our air quality hasn't been good the last couple of days, either as the northern smoke treks southward.
I need to mow today and pack as we're heading to Oshkosh tomorrow for the air show. The smoke/haze is supposed to clear there by Wednesday hopefully as we plan to go Wednesday and Friday.
The kids head home to Oregon tomorrow, so the trains will get a rest until they return at Christmas.

Off to German class in a couple of minutes. When I get back, I'll putz with my test section of scenery and add some low grasses/green. Since this is on a nearly vertical slope, static grass won't work very well (plus it would be hard to get the generator against the backdrop.)

Good Morning;
Jeff I flew a Mooney 231 into Oshkosh in many years ago, was one of my best weeks ever. So many planes, so much to do, a solid week of talking all things 'plane'. I am glad I did it while I could, not sure if I could pull it off today, too many body issues.
Speaking of which I successfully circled the sun completing my 71st time around yesterday. My bride and I went to the movies to see Odysseus (made it through 2/3 of the way, pretty boring to me) and diner at the Chop House,. I had a ton of people wish me happy birthday and even heard from all the kids!`A great day indeed.
Today I will get some bench time in I am sure but also will work on our upcoming trip to TN for the NMRA convention and fishing!
Hope everyone has a great day!
Jim

Speaking of Oshkosh, this is the Flight Aware image from 5 pm Saturday.

What a stressful situation.
1:1 today, ground hog hunting.
Happy Birthday, Jim!
The ADSB.fi feed is worth comparing. They have a specific graphic for 'parked aircraft'.

Good afternoon. Worked at the cemetery for a few hours this morning and then came home and did the front half of my yard. George's open house was well attended but not to crowded. It was good to catch up with him seeing i haven't been there since January. I finished this up last week. I never see it modeled with the body up, so thats the way I built it.
That's amazing, Dan!
Dan that is a wonderful model. Who's the manufacture???
