Howdy!
May you all have a fabulous Saturday.
See you all at the National Train Show.
Do you miss work already, Raymo ;D
Morning all,
Wow, the first of August. Where did July go? Oh yeah, I spent two weeks out of town. :)
Everything outside is wet and more rain coming. High of only 74 today, probably the lowest in two months.
Still working on the kit, need to start a thread on that. My order from Barrett Hills should arrive today to fix the broken turnout control.
Here's a line of P-51s from the air show. A rare P-51 B with a Malcom hood in the foreground.

Morning all,
Does spending 5 minutes at the workbench yesterday, finishing adding glazing to 3 small windows, count for anything? I hope to spend more time at the workbench today.
Have a great one!

Well, glazing is my least favorite part of structure modeling, so in terms of the annoyance factor, that counts!
Right now it's sunny, 69 heading to 84, but humidity is up. Scotch Club is on for today, although one of our members is off to London (England). He might bring something interesting back.
Yesterday I had to do some clean-up/put-away, just to make workbench room for the coal dock. I cut the posts (lots of them), and today I'll probably cut, stain and maybe assemble the walls. I think the right pattern is to add the posts underneath the finished structure.

Good morning. Do i miss it Jamie, absolutely not! I used my PTO the month of July and my last day of being at work was in June. We had a power outage some time the 1st of June and it tripped my alarm clock back to 12 AM when the power came on. Hasn't been right since then and who knows if/ when I'll fix it. I'll work at the cemetery for a couple hours today.
Good morning, Jaime, Jeff, Bob, Dave, Dan and later arrivals. My weather is very like Dave's. The lawn is getting a bit tall but I already have several kinds of grass, lots of clover etc. and my rural setting doesn't invite comparison with my neighbors. Newburyport MA should have nice weather for their Yankee Homecoming fireworks tonight and parade tomorrow. I'll get a workbench clear for my Swift reefer scratchbuild today.
Rumors of rain have not been confirmed but still a pretty good bet here in MI. Clouds and 70s the base readings for today.
Mowed a bit yesterday, shaded areas and around a couple of trees had slight hints of green with lots of clover. Sure dry and dusty.
The Doll is off to the daughter's craft show before too long, I'll chill close to home, bench time ;)
Enjoy the day all.
