...ok, I wasn't gonna post progress on this, but I'll go ahead and get some pics up.....not knowing what type of layout space we'll have in the new house, I decided to do a small shelf layout......it will be approximately 16"x14'....and I intend to devote it entirely to logging stuff....pictures and progress will be slow coming.....I intend to use nothing but current or new CCK kits to fill it up......
Hi Jeff You know the minute you start working on this project the house will sell and you'll need to move out. Jim

I had to zoom in on that second picture. I thought that container in the foreground had a chicken drumstick, carrots and other mixed veggies in it.
Must be close to my lunchtime.

I'll definitely be following along with this shameless self promotion thread! ;D

I thought it was a stirfry with tofu!
Jeff,
I like the logging idea. And, since we are talking trash on the first bowl, it looked like ABC (already been chewed) to me! Nuff said. You can have your thread back Jeffery! ;D

OK, so...............update???
...well...our youngest son (36) is gonna be taking on that little project over for himself....
....got to spend a little bit of work on the module.....a little progress on the small mill portion.....note that I will load this area up with lots of buildings and activity in a small area.....and intend to use ONLY CCK existing (or NEW) kits/structures......
Groovy that is looking like a great little module. I like were you are headed with this.
Jeff ...... looking good !!!! damn you now you got me thinkin' again
..after looking at the mill, I didn't like the closed shop so changed to an open-air shop....and got some paint and details started....
Looking good Jeff..... 8)
Looks good Groovy Jeff.
Tom ;D
Looks great Jeff. Jim
...the latest picture....
Just in time to pack it up and move!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
....and now that the new Pine Valley Timber Company shelf layout is progressing, I had a visitor ask the other day what I was going to do with (literally) hundreds of great structures to display with such limited space to do so....so here is the plan.....most locations will be a home for several structures/scenes as I progress.....lets start with FSM Schramm's which is basically completed except for some cleaning up and detailing....the location and scenery is pretty much determined in the first picture....the second pictures shows how I label each location for structures either built/scheduled/or in the stash......each structure will be built and attached to a piece of Gatorfoam for its base.......this location will eventually accommodate 4 options of FSM structures.....
...one issue was the billboard/sign for Schramm's....so I added the truck, tools, ladder and worker working on the sign....are they putting it up or taking it down for the next business...????
Jeff,
The layout is really looking very good. Where did you find the time to work on it? I know you've been busy.
Tom ;D
Jeff
Good to see you working on the layout - I like the idea of interchangeable structures.
Lookin' good, Mr. Groovy. 8)
