Hazy bright and cold, teens, in Michigan this morning.

No new snow here.  Closer to Lk Michigan there is a forecast of lake effect 3-4" in places.

PLAN is close to home.

BTW, brief 'wellness check' was brief, A1C a bit lower and an OK to go until June 1. Rx renewals were done.  May need to run out for them today or tomorrow.

A couple of 3d experiments in progress.

Cold, teens, and cloudy bright this am in MI.  Except for the W Shore area little if any snow today.

I had an ok, brief okey dokey from my "medical provider" yesterday and spent the day at home ofterward.  Some new 3d stuff in  the works.

Enjoy the day, all.

I have a whole bag full of Prieser rip-offs from China I got off of eBay a few years ago.  Somewhat less detail but 5' away in HO not that noticeable. Unpainted.

Deere ran great and cleared off the driveway, 325', with ease.  Neighbor with kids built a snowman, it was perfect wet sticky stuff for that.

Little new here, Michigan State canned their football coach and apparently have already committed to a guy canned from Northwestern they've been talking to, it sounds like, for quite some time.  Costing them $33 million to drop the axe.  Were it I, fade to the deep background and ease into something less stressful than what college football has become. $$$$

Doc appt at 11, then no plans.

Enjoy the day everyone.

Clouds abound with on 120 showing on the thermometer.  Cold all week is the forecast.  Doc appt. today :-\

It was announced early yesterday, MICHIGAN State canned their coach, $33 million payout, and hired a guy that was canned from Northwestern that apparently "they" have been talking with for some time now.

Our snow was wet and heavy but I was able to remove it with relative ease.

No plans after the doc.  Be well all.

I sympathize with the sick pet, Dave.  I've pretty much used up my Christmas budget doctoring the Doll's cat since Aug.  ;(

Lots and lots of snow here and still falling at 0930.  No place to head so will wait a bit before I venture out.  It looks like 5-6 inches of snow on the porch rails.  :o

Had a close encounter with a pair of deer on the way home last evening, driving 30ish and suddenly there were two of the, one made it past on front passing R to L and the other stayed to the right. :o

SPARTY pulled one out in their game, 38-28 over Maryland.  End of season.

Eeezing into today.  Everyone be safe, drive safe, careful with all the snow across the North.

Had a fine day at the daughter's, great food and laughs.

Snow started right at 12 noon after I did the marker sticks in the drive and ran to the store for a loaf of the wrong kind of bread.  Planning to wait until daylight tomorrow to move any snow.  No where to be until sometime Monday when I have my semi-annual Minute with the Doc to refill my Rxs.  I refer to him as Fruit of the Loom...visits are so brief... ;)

Coming home after day it was near white out at times, the last dozen miles appeared no one had traveled to the West in some time.  I 'flew' through it all at 30/per.    One startling episode as two deer suddenly appeared in my path.  I split the pair as I braked, one squeeked by the front and the other hesitated going off to the right side and managed to miss them both. :o  It appears we had ~6" indicating the inch an hour guess.  Looking out the back a bit ago the snow has been blowing up against the West windows and obscuring the view.  The wind is still howling.

Just checked, SPARTY is up by 3 with 2:30 to go. Still time to go Oh-fer... :o  Unable to find the game on the streaming "services" we have since canning Directv.  Nope they pulled it off 38-28!! :-X
That's it for here this eve.

Snow prep for today's activity, starting as soon as I exit here.

We are right on the line between 8-10 inches and 6-8 inches.  Probably get the Deere out sometime later.

We also have Thanksgiving II at the other girl's today.

Be safe all.

270 with heavy clouds.  Snow is forecast to begin this afternoon. We are right on the border between the 8-10 inches and 6-8 inches line, the greater amount to the West.

Things to do this morning to make ready.  Then Thanksgiving II at the other girl's place.

Be safe all.

In the midst of a spur of the moment "get out before it dumps on us big time" run over to the W side (Grand Rapids) of the state. LHS had a fair crowd and a 8pin to Digitrax adaptor for an older DH1xx decoder that I found. The sound market has priced me out.

Black Fri traffic isn't much worse than usual. The Doll got some custom ground coffee and now is browsing an antique shop. I'll hit the MRR Estate Sale shop during her next stop.  I'm sure something will follow me out to the truck  ;D

Be well all. 3 pm and the weather is feeling claustrophobic  :o   Lots of folks sure look like they ate well.

'Mornin' after the turkey here in MI, we did have a glimpse of the sun for a short time early but it's overcast.  The temp is shown to be 280 in the lower RH corner.  Felt like it when I was out for close to 0.10 minutes earlier.  :o

We had a good meal at the daughter's yesterday, a bit more spice injected into the turkey than I really like but it was all good.  I had the drumstick all to myself.  Pumpkin pie was a great top off to too much to eat.

LIONS lost, the game and a couple more key players. We couldn't get a station that carried the SPARTIES who seemed to have won in great fashion.  MAYbe a good hoops year.

I'm finishing up the last group of parts for a farm wagon I've made with the 3d machine.  The UV box just beeped off.  8)

NOt sure what my 'puter is up to, maybe the mouse is low power?  As I've selected one of the goofy face icons lately and clicked on it I get 2 of them showing up on the screen.  It's like the mouse is double bumping some how.  :-\

We're under a snow WINTER WEATHER WATCH with chances of it becoming a WARNING by tomorrow, snow at the rate of an inch an hour forecast to pass this way starting late tomorrow.

Be well all, travel safe.

Post turkey coma greetings from Michigan.  We have just lost a bit of sunlight and blue sky to a bit of cloud cover.  We are under a weather advisory in anticipation of the same snow storm Jeff mentioned, we'll be 12-18 hours behind. Today will be quiet with some lake effect possibly reaching us.  ::)    The weather instigator said 1-2 inches per hour snow overnight Saturday into Sunday.

We had a nice turkey dinner at the middle daughter's place dtopped off with a disappointing Lions game as their depleted "O" crew lost more folks.

EZing into to day with no plans.

Stay safe all, drive safely if traveling.

Greetings from a snow covered and freezing Michigan.  Dinner will be at one of the girls' so no big cleanup here.  It's around 300 and the snow has paused, covering the ground but the driveway is clear so the Deere can rest.

Speaking of Deer, the media reported that Michigan hunters have culled 106,000 from the herd since the season started on the 15th.  There season ends at the end of November but there is another month for those using blackpowder arms and bow and arrows.

Sports today will be interupted by travel to the dinner, LIONS at 1 and SPARTY HOOPS sometime around 4:30.

I started a small 3d project yesterday.  Using a FREE set of drawings from a website called CULTS that has thousands of free or very low cost predrawn items from every imaginable interest, Trains to Dungeons and Dragons, anywhere in between.  Discovery of that site has taken the urgency off learning a CAD program.

Enug from here.  Do enjoy the day, family and food!  :D

It started today at noon. Just dug out 70yr old backup if it gets too big for the Deere.

1957 Tonka "Big Mike" like I had in the day.

Now at 8 pm we are covered with an inch or so
