Mike,

Your post office turned out terrifically.  I like the architecture; very classy.  As for the general neatness and clean appearance, I know you plan to dirty it a bit, but I think post offices were generally kept up because like banks, they had an image to maintain.

Looking forward to seeing your fine structures planted on your layout.

Kyle,

You've come up with the solution to where to put the reversing loop.

My dad grew up on a farm near Batavia, NY.  Adjacent to the farm was a swamp, which ran some distance in that area of NYS.  Back in the 70's, during my last summer at home in Rochester, a photographer entered the swamp and encountered a rattlesnake.  He was bit, and that was the end of the photographer.  I was doing field work that summer and was a little more careful after that.

Larry, good work.

Jeff,

Stairs are not easy to do. You've done a fine job.

I slowed down a little on the building while making a base for my diorama and decalling the covered hopper. I returned to the building today, adding the final wall:

You can see my liberal use of clothespins, some modified to provide a stronger grip.

Fit seems very accurate.

Cheers, Mark.
Mark,

Thank you.  Went together better than I expected. A few adjustments and shaving were necessary of course.

Curt,

You're right.  It barely fits the allotted space.
