I purchased one as soon as he posted this. It's a wonderful model of a real diner from Taunton Massachusetts. I've had breakfast in there a few times. Sadly it's gone. Here''s a link to the a local newspaper -- the Taunton Gazette.

I come in there often , while not daily, just to see what folks are up to. Most of my memories are from some of that time. There are so many memories... like the first craftsman shows featuring many of the folks and their work. There a few of us long-timers around. Rick would be one. One of the first folks, who welcomed me in when I arrived, Mike Chambers, was the guy who managed to keep all of us cats in line and the kept the characteristic quality of the place.  I could go on about it but it would probably boor you. ;-D

Many things have changed and many others prevented me from getting back in... Dave Emery helped with that.

Just strolled through this thread...  Solid skill, and beautiful work.

This kit was sold out many moons ago so I never got to experience building it. Now that it's available again I have nowhere to put it. Besides that my horizon gets shorter and shorter.

I'll just have to enjoy this build and vicariously experience it through this thread.
