Larry,

Very nicely done on the structure. I agree the signs are an added bonus, looks great.

Weathering on the tar paper is wonderful.

Afternoon all,

Refund?  What is that? Pam inherited her mom's IRA and other financial stuff. We had to pay this year but all in all, didn't pay to much.

I spent several hours in the yard today and now to tired to update my thread.

Hope all are having a great day.

Curt,

I've been late to respond but I'll say, fantastic job on the build. Weathering and coloring look spot on for the structure.

By the way, that roof look really crappy, but in a good way.  ;D

Wowser, what a fantastic looking build. And, it fits right in with the Telleynot theme.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick. I'll watch the video later this afternoon.

Bowling was good for Pam and I as we bowled our averages. Our team mates didn't so we won 2 points out of 8. We are in 7th place with 10 teams.

I have some yard work to do prior to the dirt being delivered tomorrow.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Larry. Hopefully you can get some bench time in today.

Ron, fantastic news for you wife. I see being a homemaker in your future.

Rick, I'm happy to be back even for a few days. Beautiful picture of the grand Canyon, breath taking view.

Karl, yard work will definitely take some energy out of us at this age. I have a cubic yard of top soil to spread Thursday and then 1800 sq. ft. of St. Augustine sod to lay after that. I'm tired just thinking about all that work.

We have bowling today, only two weeks left in this season, yea!

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Afternoon all,

Jim nice 3D model. Touch up the green trim at the top.

Mondays are great as well as all the retirement days. I've always said everyday is Saturday except Sunday.

I also finished drawing in the grids for Horwood Bros. base.

I used Elmer's White Glue to seal the cardboard.  It will be left as is until tomorrow when the glue is thoroughly dry.

The white glue dries clear. When it is dry, I'll paint the road and parking lot.

Done for today.

When I cut out the canopy roof panel, it was an obvious "no fit"! I went back and checked if I glued the canopy walls together correctly.  Apparently I did, so I'm not sure what happened.

The canopy fit perfectly on the building. I would think that if I did it wrong, it wouldn't fit on the front of the building. Not an issue that couldn't be fixed though.

I'll just say I cut a new canopy roof panel from the same material as the main structure.

New roof panel test fitted, nice and tight, but not so tight is can't be removed.

Same picture with sidewalks in place but not glued.

I used the kit roof panel as a template for cutting the newer thicker roof panel.
