While the sidewalks were drying, I used painter tape to mark the inside edges of the corner sidewalks.

I painted on some white glue and then added some green turf.

In this case, I used Woodland Scenics Blended Turf #T1349 as the base.

I left it alone and let the white glue soak into the blended turf.

Done for today.

I placed the sidewalks in position to check the alignment and proximity to the main structure.

The main building sidewalks were aligned with the building, marked and glued in place.

I set the building in position and used small weights to hold the sidewalks while the glue dried.

I spilled the white glue and you can see it is still drying where other areas are dry. The good news is that is seeks it's own level while drying.

I let the glue dry for a several days prior to painting in the paved areas.

The unpainted areas are where future structures will be placed.

Morning again,

Well, half of my post went missing. Not sure what I did, but no biggie.

Yes, we did have a great time yesterday. The crew from the Villages were a great bunch and we did in fact get into some heavy BSing. It was all train related.

I hope to update the Horwood thread later this afternoon.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Evening all,

We missed you today Bob. Is the hip/back issue due to your yard work or something else?

Either way, I wish you a great X-ray and only be sore muscles.

Morning all,

Mice picture Jeff.

CEO Jim Donovan and 3-4 additional railroad modelers are driving down from the Villages to visit the A&S RR and meet the SBG group. Curt and Greg are stopping by to meet the northern crew. Don't know about Cuse or Reading Bob. The Judge sends his regrets, he is still rehabing.

We'll definitely have a great time and of course BSing to go with all the chatter. Lunch at our normal Saturday watering hole where the BS will most likely continue.

I'll get some photos.

Have a great day ya'll.

Morning all,

Ron, excellent news for your wife. I hope it continues to go well.

Breakfast is on the buffet so help your selves. Scrambled eggs, with link or sausage patties, southern style grits and sliced bacon. Fresh Fl. OJ along with coffee. Fruit bowls on the end for those cutting back.

I got the dirt spread - took six hours but it is done. I'll go and order/pay for the sod this morning. Surprisingly, I'm not sore this morning. I guess the last two weeks of digging out the old sod helped. Anyway, that is the second project finished and now I just have the 1600 sq. ft. of St. Augustine sod to lay - when it comes.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Larry,

Very nicely done on the structure. I agree the signs are an added bonus, looks great.

Weathering on the tar paper is wonderful.

Afternoon all,

Refund?  What is that? Pam inherited her mom's IRA and other financial stuff. We had to pay this year but all in all, didn't pay to much.

I spent several hours in the yard today and now to tired to update my thread.

Hope all are having a great day.
