Hopefully will get out of my walking boot later today, had ankle surgery 4/20 to repair some ligament and cartilage damage and remove a "mushy" bone chip. Been going stir crazy ever since!

Nowhere near as severe as the storms that claimed lives in Michigan last night, but just had about a 10 minute storm here and a tornado warning for the southern part of the county. When the dog and I came in from the walk around the yard, I had a tick, the dog had two and when I was looking at my sweatshirt found three more. Sure could use about 3 inches of snow cover again lol.

More hail here again in NW PA, I do believe I've seen more hail this week of winter than all last summer lol

We had some serious storms in NW PA last night, started about 10:00 PM and let up around 1:30 AM. Frequent and vivid lightning and woke up this morning with sidewalks, porch and driveway covered in hail.

I'll be rooting for the "Hawks to win their second SB title! Twice as warm here today as yesterday. From -4 to -2 lol.

So far no Springfield Crud this year,must be a Sunday crowd thing! Had a MRI a few days ago and got results today, doctor wants to go in a clean some cartilage near my ankle, what I thought was a nasty sprain ended up being an avulsion fracture. 

Am I the only who skills seem to have gotten worse with experience? I'm only 59, so can't really blame age. I have all the proper tools, but heck I don't think I could create a nice tight square corner on a structure if my life depended on it! Frustrating to say the least.

Just had an odd thought, do us retired folks celebrate Labor Day?

I know there are a few Veteran's in the group so I had to share this. Had an AC go bad in the past few days and of course there's not a AC to be be purchased within 100 miles of McKean County PA! Well the Army & Air Force Exhange service has a partnership now with Home Depot. Long story short, proud owner of a new 8K BTU LG AC, saved over $70 retail, delivered overnight via FedEx and best of all for me, tax free (I hate paying taxes to PA)

Oh I'm going to need to mow today. As has been typical in NW PA this spring, two nice days followed by at least 5 days of rain/showers.

Guess I'm doing this retirement thing all wrong, there's been entirely too many time for me to open up the place

I thought it was so the heat from the kitchen wouldn't heat up the rest of the house in the summer.  But either reason would work :-)
