Good Morning All,

Happy Father's Day.

Today for breakfast is coffee, assorted pastries from an IA bakery, OJ, and soda.

Slow start to the day. MOH didn't make it home until 0500 today, about 6 hours late. I haven't talked to her yet to find out why. She's snoozing currently. Later 3 people are coming to the house to pick up the babies they ordered and 1 tomorrow.

When MOH leaves on Wednesday for SC she is taking 3 babies to her BFF.

I'm sure the baby drama will waste most of the day.

Rick beautiful waterfalls.

Dave I'm glad you were successful on the wood cutting.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Great update Tom. The white glue that you spread, is it on the top side or bottom of the concrete pad?

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out with a walk at 78F and extreme humidity. As soon as I stepped outside this morning I almost turned around to go back inside. :o MOH gets back late tonight. ;D

Yesterday I built the Bowser boxcar then weathered it and it currently resides on a siding of the layout.

Today is sheet and towel washing along with the everyday chores. I'll try to run a train today for a bit. Not much else planned.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Dave there's a completely black cat in our neighborhood that I see frequently when I walk in the morning. Sometimes it follows me around for a short distance.

Rick beautiful sunset.

Good Morning All,

Breakfast today is the usual. Coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

I didn't accomplish much yesterday. After chores I ran out of energy. We only received about 15 minutes of light rain and no thunder yesterday.

Today I'm working on pool stuff before it gets too hot (but it's a wet heat). MOH should be home late tomorrow. She departs again on Wednesday for a visit with her BFF in SC. The current trip was unexpected as someone else backed out at the last minute.

Here's another plumeria color variation in the yard.

I've wasted enough of your time.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Thank you Tom, Jerry, Philip, and Greg for your kind words along with following this build to the end.

Afternoon,

I just spent about 90 minutes working out a route from IA (close to Des Moines not Cedar Rapids) that does not take them through Atlanta (most direct route) and no back roads. :o

I've been fiddling around with the Bowser Pennsy X31f boxcar Tom graciously gave me.

Tom I watched an autopsy while in PM school. I found it fascinating to see our actual organs.

Rick pretty landscape but you can have it. Congrats on the 1000 days.

Larry I hope your wife feels better quickly.

Good Morning All,

Breakfast today is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 77F and very high humidity. We had a gully washer again last night but with less lightning than the night before. We have probably received 3-4 inches of rain in the last 2 days.

Yesterday the VA appointments went ok. Dad still can't hear worth a darn. The parrots got their chow so they can continue eating.

Today is floors along with the regular chores. I have no issues watching medical procedures on me except the dreaded colonoscopy. Then it's NOPE.

Tom best wishes for your procedures. If you need anything give me a call.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. The sunrise is beyond spectacular.

Getting ready to head out to the VA for dad's appointments. After that I need to buy parrot chow. It's kind of in the area.

Severe thunderstorms last night with the lights flickering several times. Tonight is supposed to be worse.

I'll try to remember to post later.

I hope everyone has a good day.
