Morning all!
Snowmagedon turned into rainmagedon.
Old man question. With all of our modern communications devices, why did schools call off sessions for today yesterday in anticipation of snow? In the 1950's we waited until the morning arrived with or without snow. Then the radio told you whether or not you had classes, and everyone knew what was going on. Progress?
Have a great one.

Judge,
Can't decide whether I like your humor better than your great progress reports or not.
Will need several more progress updates like this one to decide.
Thanks in advance for your assistance in this matter.

Trying a different regimen this AM to see if I can be more productive and spend more time in the basement.
Sorry for your loos, Jan. Sometimes it takes a loss like this to force us to mend our ways.
Stay well all.

Some great news for the day.
And Greg, thanks for posting this at Greg Speed.

Glad to see Jaime and Mrs. Jaime survived their COVID bouts. The aftereffects aren't fun either. Maybe Jaime's illness explains why the donuts have been stale or missing recently.
Quiet day planned, but only the Shadow knows if that will be the case.

Morning,
Might have to stock up on coal for the -20 to -30 wind chill coming this weekend...
Tommy

Tommy, I've got coal left over from Christmas morning.
Delivery though might be a problem.
Have a happy, all.

Slow start this morning. Hope to spend a lot of time in the basement today and the balance of the week.
That's my "contribution" for today.
Enjoy whatever you're up to.

Enjoyed ACL's comment about yesterday. Our day was enjoyable yesterday also, but with three precocious 1/2 Italian grandkids, it surely wasn't quiet.
As part of the "discoveries" in my recent COVID bout, doctors want me to lose 20+ pounds. Doesn't bode well for the new year.
Enjoy your journey back to "normal".

Passed my first normal fever check this morning. One more tonight and I finish COVID quarantine! Tired of all the resting. Got stuff I want to get done!
Enjoy your day, folks.

Got a nasty early Christmas present yesterday: a positive COVID PCR test result. I guess quarantining beats the alternative. Could be worse. I went to college not too far north of the tornado track through western Kentucky, Those folks really have something to complain about.
Enjoy whatever you're up to today.

Thanks for the update, Judge.
Been kind of nervous when we hadn't seen or heard anything.

Sailed past the Arizona Memorial 4 times. A really moving shrine and a strong reminder of those who gave everything so that we could have something better. Think I'd best stop there.
