Jan, if I remember my science lessons, Fahrenheit (yes, the scale is named for him) picked 100 degrees as the temperature of the human body (he was off a little) and zero was as cold as he could get with a mix of water, ice, and salt. Celsius did his work many years later and had better instruments.
Thanks

Found this diagram , and google told me only 5 countries in the world use Fahrenheit, and Fahrenheit and Celsius lived for a great deal in the same era, Celsius was younger and died a lot younger.

Good evening everyone , went to visit my 89 year old mother today, she still lives on her own and with a little help from health care , friends and family I hope she will spend a few more years in her appartement.  I have 3 brothers and since my dad passed away last summer we make sure she has at least one of us most times two visit her every week.

Our favorite football team PSV Eindhoven ( as in soccer for you all ) won their 17th match since the start of the season , flawless half way through , we watched the game together on TV and had some Pizza's , it was nice to see her a bit cheerful , now if only the weather would get better so I can take her on walks .

I know this all has nothing to do with modelling , but I like to think you are friends and won't mind.

Have a great rest of your day.

Good afternoon , cold outside , but nice and warm inside, expecting 10 inches of snow next week which is a lot for the Netherlands , will probably disrupt every day life for a day or so.
