Philip,

Nope, I'm refreshing the scenery on the west side. The center isle is where the fire hydrant is located. I do have an idea on how I want to have the water gushing out.

Later, in a month of two.

ACL1504~,
Well, your layout looks to be in fine fettle with your restoration practices.  You remind me of George when he had the same occurrences keep happening, so the same clear plexi was his solution.

Caution: Make sure to mechanically number each clear barrier so returning them to their rightful location won't cause strife brother.

For what reason you ask, to take photos and videos without the protection (nobody likes bras).  ;D

Thommy,

Thank you for the kind compliment on the scenery redo.

I don't number or letter the plexiglass. I just remove it and lay the pieces up against the layout. I can also stack them in order of removal. However, I also just match the holes and more on.

Just consider these clear bras.

I finished another 19 feet of scenery restoration. The process was the same as I mentioned earlier in the thread.

I sprayed the old scenery with alcohol and warm water to remove the dust and wash it to the bottom of the old scenery.

Left half of photo - old scenery, right half is new scenery.

I also upgraded some palm trees. The palms are from Walthers. I showed how I did this back on page 24. This link will take you to that page. The palm fix is halfway down the page.

I added 23 palms to the new scenery area.

Tom, as the others have mentioned, looks great now.
Will you be installing the plexiglass clear, see-thru barriers along your whole layout?
One would think they would get in the way when you have op sessions, but maybe not.
