Morning all,

Breakfast is ready. Scrambled eggs with link sausage, whole wheat toast with grape jelly and fresh squeezed OJ.

The Judge is coming over to run trains. All in the area are welcome. This will be the last Saturday until mid Sept. I'm having a stomach hernia repaired and won't be able to do anything for several weeks.

Have a safe and healthy day ya'll.

Good Morning All,

I'll be heading down to ACL Tom's this morning for some good train talk and general BS'ing. I went to bed with layout designs spinning in my head and woke up the same. I think I'm getting somewhere, but I've pledged (to myself) to NOT build anything beyond the basic benchwork until after the NNGC in September...as I'll surely see layouts that make me want to start over anyway  ;D

Busy weekend with Tom's this AM, son's family coming over for a swim this afternoon, and then preparing and taking my youngest back to Stetson U. tomorrow...followed by date night. It's not inconceivable that he comes home for Thanksgiving and finds that his bedroom has been swapped with my "office" (train room), if the wall & window  configuration makes it favorable...I could have done it when we moved in - so I doubt I'll see it differently. Funny thing is that he probably wouldn't blink...he'd just go in his new room and lay down on his relocated bed without a word. He's a pretty cool customer. 8)

I'm going to try to get down to AcL Tom's train shed this morning. I haven't had a good dose of BS for quite some time and I'm in need of a recharge

Morning,

I wish I could be there too, but the wife says NO!

Tom, I pray the surgery goes well.

Good luck to Tom, and safe running on the layout.  Ask the Judge for a Saturday report...

Cloudy here, feels like rain but none is forecast.  Today's project is unclogging the shower drain, and then down to the train room for more work on the coaling dock bents.  I should finish those today.
