Morning all,

Got my walk in first thing this morning, had breakfast and now I'm just puttering around.  Think I'll hit the workbench this afternoon and ignore the yard work I told myself I should do.

Good Morning Bob;

Looks like a slow day at the clubhouse. I got my chores done this morning and going out to lunch to meet my brother. He lives about 30 miles away and we catch up at lunch once in a while.

Afternoon all,

As I mentioned last week, I had hernia surgery last Friday. In Pre-surgery, the Dr. said he saw a second hernia starting and he would fix it when he went in to repair the one scheduled.

Well, he did and an hour later I was out of surgery and had a gift of an abdominal drain tube. It will be removed tomorrow morning.  It has been very uncomfortable to sit or stand so the better part of the past six days has been in a supine position in bed. I feel like I've been kicked by Sister Sara's Three Mules.

I think the major discomfort comes from the stomach drain tube.

In the coming days and weeks, I'll get back to normal and respond to and continue to work on the challenge.
