I too have come to rely on this thread for the daily update on everyone. For me, it is the first thread I check. Neither did I ever meet the real "Geezer" but from what I've learned, he certainly was a great asset to the RR Line Forum.

I remember one night I was on the RR Line Forum and Bill "Geezer" was to.
So after a few minutes he said "say goodnight Jerry" so I said back goodnight Bill.
He came back and told me your suppose to say "Goodnight Jerry"  :)
