Good Morning Folks;

Just sat down to check what passes as news this morning on internet with a freshly ground coffee in hand. Dunkin donuts on the counter, help yourself.

We woke up to 40 degree weather today, chilly for us but going into the 70's with blue skies! I watched the latest Starship attempt yesterday as they fired it off in Texas yesterday. The advances they are making between SpaceX and Blue Origin are nothing short of amazing. Watching the launch pad actually capture the first stage booster after sending starship on its way was incredible. Then to once again have engine failure on starship and in real time watch it go out of control, ugg. Just shows how complex it is going to be to travel into space. I was told number 9 attempt is already planned, amazing.

For myself, I am going to be content with scratch building and finishing the loading docks for around the model warehouse project today. We have the a/c guy coming for annual maintenance too but that is about it. Well off to morning walk, hope everyone has a great day.

Here is a photo of a FSM kit I made for the local museum a few years back. It represented a real lumber operation in the area around 1900 called Heasters.

Good morning everyone.

Pacific Grove weather: sunny and it's 49 now and 55 later.

Jim, thanks for the second cup and have fun at the bench.

Gym this morning and then Star and I will do some walking to explore the area.

I post a daily photo or video of my travels in The Geezer Lounge and wonder if I should post that here too?

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all.  Thanks for the fat pills, Jim.  You found one of my weaknesses.   We're headed to the mid 50's today.  I'm going to paint some little people this morning and I have a routine medical checkup this afternoon.

Morning all!
Fat pills...lol

Thanks for the coffee! Worked on the juke joint roof and trim yesterday but run out of cigar wraps. Reordered another 40 from my supplier.

Nice looking sawmill Jim!

See you all around the forum.

Morning everyone

Jim thanks for the coffee.
Nice looking model.

A sunny/windy 41 here in South Jersey.  51 later on.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Good morning, all. Bright sun and strong, gusty wind on the NH seacoast. Frosty at dawn but well above freezing now.  I lost respect for Musk's technology development when I saw they weren't putting redundant telemetry on their test flights.  Something goes wrong, but because it took out the telemetry system, no details.  Lather, rinse & repeat.  They do seem to be making progress on the Super-Heavy booster, though.

I've still got paperwork to do, then maybe modeling.

Early sun and hard frost has yielded to overcast with an expectation of rain by early afternoon.  Just home from breakfast out after accompanying the Doll at an 0815 DOC appt.

I sure like the sawmill model Jim.  I have one of the FSM sawmill kits.  Need to find a time and space to build it.

Trip to town the other direction shortly after a couple things at home to do, RX to fetch.

I'm amazed at the Space-X team and the progress in their endeavors.

Morning all.

Snowing here this morning.  Busy day here.  They have come and assembled my new elliptical machine and hauled out the old one.  I've been to the pharmacy to pick up stuff for the wife.  Now we're heading out to PT for her, then I bring hre back and head back to ortho to see the knee doctor.  Then a trip to Costco and the grocery store.

No train time for me.

Afternoon,

Jim I'll take a coffee and doughnut; mid afternoon snack. Great looking sawmill btw.

It's 34 and has snowed, quite windy, and now the sun's shining. Warmup next week.

Have a great rest of your day.
