Good morning, all. Refilling my hens' water took three times as long as usual today, most of which was making a direct path from the house to the cattle barn.  I've loaded the coffee urn and put fruit, muffins, bread etc. on the counter for anyone who needs a nibble this late in the morning.

My next job is finding a vehicle inspection station near me; A Federal court just overturned NH's new law that would have ended inspections this month. I didn't think that was a good idea; in my life I've seen plenty of cars with holes in the floor, dripping oil and sometimes even gas. But our Legislature didn't want to increase the inspection station fee enough to keep the small garages in business. Then maybe some modeling.  Also, my wife has started a house scratchbuild, which I should photograph and post.

Yeah, that was a dumb move by the legislature.  The state conceded that dropping inspections would put the state out of compliance with some federal requirements.  I'm also OK with mandated state inspections, my plan was to take my pick-up to the guy down the street in any event for an annual check-up, even if there's no sticker afterwards.   Wife just got her Volvo serviced.  Turns out this car takes special Volvo-only wiper blades.  The blades are heated and the washer fluid runs through them.  They're on order, should be here early next week.  I understand why Volvo did that design, next time we'll know to order them in advance.

It's sunny, even though it's chilly, so that should help melt some snow/ice on the driveway.  I have some glue setting up on the peaked walls on the barn, after lunch and some errands those should be ready for more assembly.
