Good morning  all. Yesterday I traveled to my brother's house for a visit. There was a model show a couple towns over so we decided to stop by. It was mostly aircraft and military models(quite impressive) but one builder did bring a diorama of FSM's Brambell kit. For a second there I thought I was at an EXPO. Speaking of EXPO's, I saw Mike Baker has sold off his business  to someone in Illinois and Don Tichy has decided to stop doing shows . That's it from me, have a good day.

Morning all,

Quite an impressive build, Dan.

It's raining, which it's apparently going to do tomorrow as well, headed to 66 degrees.

We were supposed to go to Dubuque today for my wife's mother's 94th birthday, but my wife is still coughing and sniffling and we don't want to expose anyone else to that.

I did get the lawn mowed yesterday and listened to the Patriots win while watching KC lose (which was OK).

Might start working on fixing locomotive issues today.

Sun and pleasant this morning in MI.  Lions won and I got some outdoor work done.  More 1:1 today, slowly working up to change over on the Deere.

Missed any formal announcament, but he was not at Timonium this weekend. Someone (I don't recall who) was occupying the space he always occupied and had Nick and Nora Design kits for sale which seemed kind of unusual.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Don Tichy announced they'll no longer travel to shows.  That's too bad, I always enjoyed talking to Don and Terri.   Same thing's true for Mike and Karen from "Nick & Nora".

Afternoon all,

Just got back from lunch with old work crew. Stopped by the local Hobby Lobby on the way home and was disappointed with the shrinking selection of paints. No more Vallejo and far less acrylic. Guess I'll have to try Michael's to see what they have.

Have a great one!

Our Michigan area  Hobby Lobbys have gutted their hobby area, paints, few now, some tools, knife blades, no airbrushes, months with nearly empty strip wood display with no restock in this year, 40% off on plastic kits, vehicles and aircraft.  Some but less styrene olain sheet stock. The area Michaels has given up their Midwest or Northeast (don't recall which) display or hidden it.

Bob I have got to the point of just ordering online when I need something instead of the hour roud trip for nothing.

Hobby Lobby is 5 to 10 minutes from my house and I was in that area anyway. Online will be the way to go though.

As usual, when I entered Hobby Lobby there was one person checking out. Got my stuff, went to the check out, and there were two registers open with long lines of people with carts full of stuff. Always seems to work that way. >:(
