Well boys, my good friend Jaime is taking a break from building. So I am here to keep Y'all entertained..... Today was my Brad Day. I take 1 day off during the year, to do what ever I want. Today I did some running around , stopped in at the MAN SPA ( Lowes ), and had lunch. This afternoon I got some LED's installed in the bottom section of the building. I threw in some detail parts in for these pictures. This is by no means the way the final kit will look like. I need to pick up some N scale ballast to make some piles of oysters in this area. So here they are. What do you think?

Hello everyone. This afternoon I was able to get to the bench and get some work done on these buildings. The rafters were glued in, the beams underneath the third level white building were put in, and the sign was installed. It's coming along quite nice. I am getting to the point where I will not be able to continue until I build it into the scenery on my railroad. I will probably build a small diorama for this kit, as I want to take it to a train show in April, here in Ottawa. As well, I will be able to practice some scenery techniques on the diorama.......

Have a great night

March 1st..... Bring on spring... Last night I patiently worked on the staircase that is on the outside wall. You really need to have a lot of patients when building this part. It is a bit warped but it turned out ok. I think some type of jig would help quite a bit in building these stair cases.....

An observation....... While looking at the photos of this kit on the Foscale website, I noticed that my wall, at the end of the large building, is reverse of what Doug has on his building. When I first saw this I had thought that I installed my wall upside down. Luckily it is fine. His door is on the left and mine is on the right....... Here is a pic of his ( not good quality because I shot the photo on the computer ), and mine...... go figure.

Wow. Almost a week has gone by since I did my last post to this thread. I didn't get much done this week as I just didn't feel like getting to the bench. I was able to get the rusty panels painted and installed on the wall the separates the 2 main buildings. I didn't get the large widows that go above the doors on these walls, so I just glued in a piece of cardboard and panelled right over them. I also started to build the small vessel that delivers the oysters..... And for Cara, I will show what one of the signs looks like adorning the wall of the smaller, yet focal point, to this kit..... The next few steps will be to finish the chimneys, and start figuring out the base for this kit. I would like to incorporate this kit with my Fine Scale Miniatures Seafood Emporium.......Have a great day everyone...

Hi Chooch:

Nice colors and weathering. Love the sign. Does it come with the Kit?

No. The sign that I used is one that my wife and I made up on the computer. We named the building after a friend. I like to personalize kits this way........
