I for one, will always remember the old AS layout and the fun the SBG had trying to not have something go wrong at the double crossover.

Jim

Me too Jim.....such a great layout for High Balling..... ;D

Greg,

Slow down, relax and have another Highball.

Hey Tom:

That is one great looking roundhouse. I really like it.

Karl

Karl,

Thank you, much appreciate it. I still have it and will definitely use it on the new A&S RR.

It's a shame you dismantled it, but the new one is even better.   :)   Were you using car cards, switch lists, etc?  Or just highballin' a la Greg?  ;D

Jeff

Jeff,

Well, yes and no. Yes, in that it was a lot of work to do and then take down. Mainly No, as the new A&S RR. is much better and really allowed me to more express my talent in scenery and structure building.

The old layout took space that the new one gives me for the building and scenery.

I never got far enough on the old layout to even think about the operations aspect of the railroad.

Greg was the only one that ever "highballed my locos - and his."
