strarting on sawmill kit and have a few issues, missing woods parts which I can deal with.  The instructions mention a separate sheet about landscaping around the mill.  Was wondering if if anyone has a copy of this info.  Also was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what to use for sawdust and woodchips.  Any info is appreciated. Thanks Scott H

When I built my 170 Sawmill I used sawdust from my belt sander with a 120 grit sanding belt. It's HO scale saw mill sawdust in my opinion. At the time I was building my sawmill I was also sanding cedar shingle strips to make pine tree armatures so I collected lots of HO scale sawdust. Using sawdust from a table saw or any saw would be out of scale.

I'm afraid I need help from the group again.  Still encountering missing wood which I can cope with but as the build has gone on discovered I had instructions for kit 150 and 170 and templates mostly from 140 kit. So now I have to ask if anyone can help me with templates 6 to 10 for the 170 kit.  I gues this is why it was such a good deal when I bought it. Buyer beware I guess.  Thank you for any help you can give. scot H

Scott PM me your email address and I'll sent you scans of those templates.
I'm also guessing that you may also be missing the 'Logs, Idea and Suggestion' sheet
