Finished the second of the seven structures of FOS' "Red Light District".  This didn't turn out as well as I'd planned.  Both side walls are partial walls as it sits between two other buildings.  I replaced the one wall with cardstock.  Instead of using the water putty, I sprayed it with Rust Oleum texture paint to simulate stucco.  I experimented with Vallejo crackle medium to make the paint crack.  On my practice piece, it worked fairly well.  On the actual structure--nothing.  I sanded the seams and thought the stucco paint would cover them, but, even though I put it on a little too thick, it didn't cover the seams.  Not my best effort, but it will do.  Needs some roof details and maybe some slight more weathering with chalks.  Building #3 is about 75% complete, will start #4 while waiting for paint to dry.

The opposite view shows the partial wall on the other side.  It's made up of a piece from which other pieces have been laser cut and removed.  Pretty clever design.  The back door will get painted and added later.  Again, some roof details need to be painted/added as well.

Turned out well Jeff..... 8)  Oh, you might need an a/c unit on the roof to keep the inside from getting too hot with those steamy movies.  ;D ;D ;D

Looks great Dr. Jeff!  You're moving right along.  It took me a while to get through all seven.   ::)
