Super job Tom!  I can never get enough tips for brick painting.  Getting realistic brick and rust colors might be my two favorite challenges as a modeler.

Something to notice on Tom's last brick wall picture is that the brick used for the front of the building looks quite different from the side walls.  This is actually pretty common in earlier brick buildings.  They used better quality (usually measured by more consistent uniform coloring) for the front, and cheaper brick, with more color variation (and sometimes softer) for the side/back walls.  I'm not sure I've seen that modeled very often.
