That's a really interesting photo!  Where was "North Judson"?  Looks like there's a RR crossing to the left rear of the station.  There's a derail on the track to the lower left (supports the idea that is a railroad crossing in the distance.)  Lots of signal masts for both line and train order signals.  The clothing looks 1910s-1920s, but it's a bit hard to judge.

North Judson Indiana, site of 4 long gone RR's...NYC, C&O, Erie and Pennsy...a Hoosier RR musuem is in town now.
