Fridays are a wonderful thing.


There is a train show somewhere in Arkansa about 2 hours and 45 minutes from my house this weekend. I plan to go tomorrow. I looked it up and Rich from RS Laser will be there. It'll be nice to see a familiar face. It's been a while since I was a train show (Springfield 2020). Maybe I'll find a bargain or two.

Off now for 3 days after working 7 of 8.  It's been very difficult as we're seeing so many people, especially kids.  It will get worse when school starts next week.  Today I get to wait for a new washer to be installed, every housewife's dream.

Good morning! I'm playing Grandpa again today. The kids start back to school on Monday so we are spending some time together. I hope everyone has a great day.


I had a nice long talk with George Sellios, yesterday.  He has lots of changes planned for the F&SM this winter. I can't wait to see where he goes with it. Here is one scene that I don't think has changed.

Just two more weeks 'til my unemployment (retirement)!

Today I'm cleaning the basement after finishing off the Dexter's diorama. Also playing with backdrops. I bought the images from LARC. Lots of great stuff but many of the multi-segment pictures are mismatched, color-wise. I'm finally taking the time to learn Affinity Photo. Good time investment, I'm sure, but disappointing that I have to do that work.
