Good morning.

Coffee's on, bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin, blueberry pancakes, or just a blueberry muffin.  Have one, or all three.  Other drinks at the end of the line.

There are some massive ugly black clouds outside this morning.  We started out the day in the mid-60's, but temperatures are forecast to fall throughout the day until we get into the 30's by tonight.  Judging by the look of the clouds I am not at all surprised.  The plan is to hunker down inside and work on the caboose I mentioned yesterday.  I bought this old Silver Streak caboose as the basic body from an "under the table" junk box at a train show.  I dug out a couple bolsters from my parts stash, fabricated a center sill from styrene, and bashed together some brake rigging.

I hope everyone as a great day!

Good morning,

I'm starting my day with a delicious cup of coffee and a warm apple fritter. Later today, I'm treating myself to a special Dairy Queen ice cream cake for a fun occasion.

Morning All,

Halloween was great...it sure ends a lot earlier than in my wayward youth - I'm not complaining.

Happy November...I plan to go from negative (demolition) to positive this weekend on new layout

Morning all.

Four day weekend here.  Need to go to the grocery store this morning, otherwise no plans.  Need to get the DCC installation finished.

We got a bright red sunrise with a chance of morning showers (we need the rain!), but turning sunny and warm this afternoon.  Might hit 75, about 20 degrees above normal, before that cold front comes through and takes us back to seasonal temperatures.

The cleaners are coming this morning, so I have to sit with the dogs to keep the dogs out of the cleaners' way.  Then down to the train room for the post-project pick-up/put-away.

Did I post this yesterday?  The hopper sitting on the coal trestle from the previous project...    A guy will do decals for me using his "Ghost Cartridge" when he gets a chance.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Jerry.

Nothing new here and we got no trickers or treaters last night. Five years in a row now and like Cuse, not complaining at all.

Have a great day ya'll.

How old am I?
Why I'm so old I can remember when "vote early and vote often" was a joke.
Nursing a fractured #6 right rib. The cause is classified as "Burn Before Reading" for all you vets aboard.
The only upheaval I plan today is to make some creditors happy since the Eagle landed last night.
Off for a real breakfast. Need to leave room for all the candy left over from last night.
Cheers!
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Morning all,

It's been a very busy week with real work.  A cool front is coming through today and it's cloudy/foggy/rainy.  We need the rain.

I'm taking my 2 cats to the vet for their annuals this afternoon.  One of the cats (Pookie) is very sneaky and hates getting in the cat carrier so it should be fun to catch her.

Morning, sunny today but the snow was heavy and wet yesterday. Closed the store early too as the roads were slick.
Have a great day !!!   Tommy

Afternoon all,

Not much to report here.  At least on the workbench front.  I did a little yard work this morning but only got about a third of what I had planned on doing done.  I guess old age is catching up with me.  That's okay.  The rest can wait until next week.

Time to go pack.  When the better half gets home from work, we're hitting the road and heading up to Mt. Dora for a couple of nights at a B&B.  Wine tasting tomorrow night.  Aside from that hanging out with friends and hitting the local restaurants and shops.

Have a great one!
