Morning All

Today looks to be a good MR day for me. I've got one more module to assemble, maybe even paint...when it's installed in place, I'll consider my benchwork essentially done and (maybe) even worthy of a few pictures. I have gotten the HOn30 section running and all track laid with the exception of a couple of engine house tracks that will ultimately lead into a Sierra West structure that I'll build elsewhere and then install.

Pouring outside and the dogs are going to explode if it doesn't let up - or they'll just have to accept their wet fates (and mine).

Have a good  one.

Bright sun  8) with a bit of chill in the air, 40s.  It maymake 60s by later.  The Canadian SMOKE is still a bother with air quality alerts on the news.

How about some breakfast? Pancakes with Blueberries and sausage patties here.  Hot Weekender coffee is in the pot., OJ for the Florida crew, diet and leaded soda pops of all varieties in the big ice tub

Time to put the bird feeders back out, chased a racoon off the deck 3 times last night.  Security measures will be in place tonight.  >:(

No plans yet, will conjure up something.

Everyone have a fine day.

Happy Saturday.  Thanks for breakfast, Karl.

The sun's out and I'm heading to the club this morning.  We're having a weathering session where we each bring in a project and we can see how others do their weathering.  I have a boxcar I'm going to hit with oils.

Good morning everyone.

Mostly sunny and temps in the mid 70's here in Oregon.

Other than some house cleaning resting will be the weekend plans.

Have a great day everyone.

Wet day in SE NH, with a bit of fog settling in (a change from when I posted over in Geezer's thread.)  I hit some setbacks on the machine tool project, so I'm moving back to the Winchendon structure and playing with magnets to make one wall removable.

Hello All, it's going to be another nice warm day here in the desert. The weather lady says we might get some rain tomorrow- wouldn't that be great. Late yesterday afternoon I watched a bobcat get a jackrabbit and drag it off by it's neck. Life is tough here in the desert. Think I'll go down to the train room where it's safe.

Morning all,

A warm one here today headed to 85 degrees.  I'll be heading to the grocery store soon, then need to mow.  Neighbor has a graduation party this afternoon, so the docket looks pretty full for today.

Good morning, all.  Hadn't seen that Far Side cartoon, Dave. Some parts came in yesterday, so the late afternoon was spent doing house wiring and plumbing.  I'll be up late fetching family from the airport, but happily everything seems organized for my wife's postponed craft fair tomorrow.  More 1:1 track work Monday, haying season starts Wednesday; My 2nd wife is the only farmer in town who still puts up hay, and I'm a supporter.

I've done the outdoor chores. Checking the Forum and elsewhere on the net, then going up to the layout to start on the new model parts. Will be worth a post if they work as I hope.

Morning all,

As John mentioned, around these parts our day started out with some heavy rain accompanied by a lot of lightning.  Seems to have calmed down now.  I don't have much on the agenda today so maybe I'll get some motivation and hit the workbench.

Hey George - don't forget to show us that weathered boxcar when you're finished.  ;)

Have a great one!
