Good Morning Folks;

Coffee is on and club house doors open. We had a monster thunderstorm yesterday that really rattled the house. Six inches of rain and a home a couple miles away hit and heavily damaged by resulting fire. What a fireworks show.

Today some yard work and bench-time. Mostly the second, going to be another really hot day so so day to enjoy the train room.

Well, none of that here in SE NH.  It got down to 51 (and actually probably a bit cooler) last night, heading to 71 today with clouds.   We'll see a bit of influence from the hurricane later this week, some chance of showers.

I'm off to help a neighbor move some bookcases and books from his wife's office so they can redo the carpeting.  So no modeling this morning, but back to it this afternoon.

Good morning, Dave and crew.  We received a lot of rain last night and more is forecast today.

I'm scheduled for aortic valve replacement surgery today.  This was supposed to be done last Tuesday, but it was canceled at the last minute because of complications with a patient in an earlier surgery causing everything to be pushed back.  Hopefully I can get this over with today.

Best to George with today's procedure.

Cool and overcast in Michigan this morning. A considerable amount of rain fell overnight :(  until just a bit ago. It's quite humid.

PT yesterday was ok but I had an 0400 wake up from tweaking my hip. Was up 45 minutes before the ibuprofen kicked in.  :o

My main PC has a strange screen on the monitor that I can't get to go away. Every time I EXIT it reboots and comes back. Screen shot image too big to post here. Finally just manually shut it down. Maybe the Geek squad SIL will figure it out.  >:(  best I can tell it's some sort of BIOS reflash thing that I never initiated.

Update: The computer restarted like normal after the "time out" period. Strangely usual.

Good afternoon, all; Dave's weather is mine too today.  Spent the morning doing a little machining for a boat-owning friend, then spending some time with my younger son's long time friend, who lives and works overseas.  This afternoon I've got to finish cleaning up after the grain harvest.

Wishing you a good outcome, George.

Afternoon all,

Praying all goes well for George.

Not much to report here. It's hot and humid. What else would you expect from Florida mid-August? The little bit I did outside this afternoon got me perspiring.

Have a great one!
