Afternoon All,

Thank you Jerry, Larry, Rick, Mike, Philip, Ron, Mark, Rich, and Tom for following along and your kind comments.

Rich yes, the "U" channel is for a sliding doors.

Since the last update I have been adding doors and windows to the Pattern Shop walls. I had to redo the "U" channel a second time since I was unhappy with the results the first time around.

Note the garage door curves inward at the top.

Curt that's looking really good and great coloring on the doors. The curved door is that the way it's supposed to be or is it a faulty print.

Looking great, Curt...how about some scrape marks on the wall where the door bottoms scratch the wall from opening and closing ..just a thought

Nice work on the walls Curt. And nice job on the sliding doors.

On a side note:  While we were on the Railroad Line Forums, I started a scratchbuild of this diorama that is not totally finished yet. And I never got a chance to show anything before the site went down.
Now that you are building this kit, I probably won't show mine. I don't want to take away
any of your fanfare! Your build is looking great.

Rich

Rick

Curt, great job as usual on the window's and doors.

Rich, I don't know why you wouldn't want to start a separate thread on your build.

Jerry

Rich I don't think you would take anything away from Curt's build.

So get off your dead *** and start a thread for God's sake!!  :)
Besides yours is scratch built!

Rich I have no problem with you doing a build thread at the same time, especially if it's a scratch build.

Curt,

The redone rolling door looks great, looks like it was well worth the effort.

Curt,

I truly appreciate the jesture for me to start a thread, but I am currently still working on my 1:1 list of projects for the CEO. When I can free up some time and if I can find my photos, I will most likely take you up on this. Thank you.
I also want to thank Rick, Larry, and Jerry for their comments as well. And Jerry, who has a dead ***? certainly not me! ;D

Hi Curt.

I'm a little confused by your door with a bend at the top?  If it is a sectional door, and you are showing the door partially raised, you will need a gap at the bottom (unless I'm missing something).  I opened our garage door to have a look, and I would estimate between 10" - 12" of gap at the bottom to represent the angle you have at the top.

BTW - I think the stonework in this kit is gorgeous!

Cheers, Mark.
