Good Morning All,

Now that my granddaughter has graduated high school and all the celebrating has slowed down, I can get back to the railroad. I have been working on the gorge  at High Bridge as seen in a few pictures back. While working on that area, I glanced over to the adjacent town, which has yet to be named. I saw a great view, so I grabbed the camera and took a few pictures. Taking pictures of any given area allows me to see where improvements, corrections need to be made. In this case, vehicles and people need to be added. Trolley lines need to be added as well. The more details, the greater the story, so I continue to look at the pictures and see what I might add. So here are three pictures for you to view. If you see anything that should be added, please let me know. Always like constructive comments, well almost.

Hi Frank,

It is getting there, slowly but surely.  You can spend years doing the structures and scenery.  But so far, very, very, very, very, nice.

Good Morning Bob,

I have had that trolley for many years. Bought it in a train store in Chicago. Repowered it with NWSL motor. It is a Pacific Electric passenger/electric #1360.

Steve, Jan & Tom,

Thanks guys for your kind words and for following along. Progress is slow but steady. Here is a trackside structure. Most of the details have been added, but upon closer examination, it needs some weathering, a couple small signs and more junk around the building. I am exploring my stash to see what I can find to junk it up a bit. I'll post another pic soon.

Some signage would be nice.

Good Afternoon Andy,

Give a bit of time to rummage around for some signs and other debris. I will also add some A&I to give it a little more worn look. Stay tuned. Thanks for stopping by.

Postalkarl,

Good afternoon. It was a pleasure to finally meet you back in March at the Expo. Thank you for your kind words on my railroad. As you may have guessed, I really like structures. The garage building is called Duffy's Tires and is scratch built. It has a complete interior. I'll look and see if I took any interior photos and if not, will take some and post them for you. After taking Slim's clinic on LED's, I am thinking of installing the real small led's in the interior roof . It would be great to see it illuminated. Hate the thought of adding the lighting after the build. My Bad. The garage is built on a piece of foam, then was joined to the big building from SRMW. I also getting into the scenery. So many materials, it is difficult to find and remember what I used a couple of years ago. Oh well, that is the fun of building things freelance. Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate your kind words.

Frank, I've been lurking on this thread on and off for a couple months now and just wanted to say it's looking great. When the issue comes out, I'll have to break down and buy it for my collection. I've brought the photos of East End Market up to St. J and everyone who has seen them are in awe of your build. Big D.

Good Evening Big D.

Good to hear from you and very glad the folks up north is enjoying the East End photos. A bit of news on the photo shoot. Lou has had to reschedule and I will know better at the first of the year when. Whew, what relief. I have been going "balls to the wall" to finish  a portion of the layout. A couple of extra months are great. I might even get a bit further than I originally planned. My wife is painting people to fill in several of the scenes.

I have been thinking about that building you showed me during the drive from the airport to the hotel. Any thoughts on getting the floor plan dimensions and a bunch of photos? This delay would allow me to scratch build that building, bring it to the next expo, possibly, before installing it on the layout. Just thinking.

You are probably enjoying the cool climes of Vermont while we are headed to the mid to upper 105 to 110 this week.  Ouch. All the better to stay in the train room where the temp is cool. much cooler.

thanks for lurking and your kind words.
