Bob,

Thanks for stopping by. Glad you are enjoying the pics. Scenery is very time consuming, especially when you are going up and down the topside creeper. It really gets your legs.

Jim,
Thank you for stopping by and for your kind words. I enjoy weathering and discovering new techniques from everyone. Still lots of work to do. Thanks again for stopping by.

Here are a couple new photos of the layout. The top photo is the icing platform adjacent to Yakima Apples. My wife has been paint lots of people after several comments from an earlier post that mentioned that I needed people in the scenes.
The second photo is looking at Chester tower. The building to the left is another SRMW kit - O.V. Hooker & Son. The bridge that I recently painted is overhead and you might see a bit of the bottom of it.
Lots of scenery work yesterday and more today. I'll post pics soon on the progress.

The Chester station is so beautiful , any image with that on it is a keeper.
I love photo's, don't we all.

If you can add a temporary backdrop to put more sky above that "keeper photo", you might have a RR Mag cover shot!

It's looking great Frank.  I just took a look back on your thread to really get a feel for how far you have come this last few months - you have been working hard! It's the details!

Good Afternoon John,

Yes, I have been putting a lot of time in the train room. I have a date from Lou Sassi, so I am working feverishly to complete all the details. 97 days from today and counting. There is a lot of work still to be done, but I will make it. I continue to use the phone camera to "see" items that need to be corrected. Yesterday I had to fix a building because of a gap between the structure and the sidewalk. A couple of hours later and the problem was solved. It's those "details" that get you every time. And one of the big items still to be completed is the story, layout diagrams, etc...

Thanks for stopping by. More pics soon.

Frank, the pictures are outstanding.  I've always enjoyed looking at your layout.  Who would think that it is in the middle of the desert.  Phil

Good morning Phil,

Great hearing from you and thank you for the kind words. Many of us out here in the desert come from someplace else and sometimes bring a little of their past with them. My scenery encompasses a little Pittsburgh, New England and some Pacific Northwest all blended into the layout. Glad you approve. What is happening with you? Moved into your house yet? Drop me a PM. Thanks again for stopping by.
